Monthly Adoptive Parents Support Groups forming:
- Pennington Parents Daytime Group- Group will meet the third Thursday of the month from 10:30 to 12 noon.
- Montclair - Time and Date TBA
Monthly Children and Teen Groups - interview for these new groups now!
- Pennington Girl’s Group – For girls ages 8 to 10. Starting September meeting the 2nd Friday of the month from 4:30 to 5:45.

- FRUA's 7th Annual Educational Conference Oct. 15-16, The Children's Hospital of PA, South 34th St & Civic Ctr Blvd. Philadelphia. Local Summer Camp Opportunities for Adopted Kids and Adoptive Families:
- Holt's East Coast Adoptee Camphttp: - August 8-13 at Camp Louemma in Sussex, NJ for ages 7-15 year olds. Holt Adoptee Camp provides a unique experience for your internationally adopted children and teens to discuss their feelings about adoption, race, identity, fitting in, etc. Find gun, understanding, support and some time spent in large and small groups to more directly focus on the camper's adoption, identity, and race questions that they all share.
- Holt's East Coast ADOPTIVE FAMILY DAY CAMP
Thursday August 12th 9:30AM - 5:30PM at Camp Louemma in Sussex, NJ for kids ages 5 -18 years old AND their families. Open to all international, transracial, transcultural adoptees and their parents. A single-day program of workshops, activities, and games for adoptees and their parents to learn and talk about adoption in a safe setting and to meet other people like them. The program includes adoptee identity and race/racism education; Q&A sessions with adult adoptees; and an emphasis on interactivity with other adoptees and adoptive parents. This is also an excellent way to experience the full Adoptee Camp without the week-long, overnight commitment! The cost is $50 per parent/child pair.
